Renke He, born in 1958, was educated at Hunan University in civil engineering and architecture. From 1987 to 1988, Renke He has been a visiting scholar at the Industrial Design Department of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and, from 1998 to 1999, at the North Carolina State University, School of Design. Renke He is dean and professor at the School of Design, Hunan University in China, and is director of the Chinese Industrial Design Education Committee. Currently he holds the position as vice-chair of the China Industrial Design Association. Porfessor He is the juror of Red Dot Award.
